Throughout our 178-year history, we’ve seen many major strides by and for women. Still, we can’t ignore some hard truths.
For example, take the fact that women are more than half of the workforce – but the percentage of women running Fortune 500 companies is in the single digits. And we’re only seeing about a quarter of women in STEAM careers.
Factor in gender wage gaps, time gaps to raise children/care for family and the lean toward gender-centric career tracks…and it’s not hard to see how women are being left behind. Obviously, there’s work to be done. And we’re continuing to do our part to achieve unlimited potential for all.
