How did the team from Mac Tools create a memorable experience at Mac Tools Tool Fair 2024? By introducing over 300 new products!

At this year’s event in Orlando, FL, the team debuted a new product line that addresses the day-to-day challenges automotive professionals may face while on the job. Representatives from more than 1,100 distributor routes received access to these new tools and accessories, along with the opportunity to learn more about the year’s key promotions.  

“Our new Mac Tool products have been expertly engineered to provide the pro the ability to tackle a variety of projects with greater comfort and efficiency,” said Rob R., VP Channel Marketing for Mac Tools. “We are excited to unveil the new product line at this year’s Mac Tool Fair as we connect directly with the professional automotive industry pros and continue to innovate.” 

The product development team prioritized comfort, versatility and durability in these new tools and accessories and integrated features into the products’ designs to enhance user experience. Tools like the Mac Tools Right Angled Multi-Function Pliers and the Mac Tools 150 Lumen Rechargeable Mini Pen Lights are intended to make working in tight, hard-to-reach spaces easier. Other new tools like the Mac Tools R.B.R.T.™ Socket Sets offer more torque than other models.  

Learn more about a few of the tools and accessories introduced at the event: 

Featuring a long nose, 100° angled head designed to supply access in tight areas and nickel plating for corrosion resistance, the new Mac Tools angled multi-function pliers, available in red and high-visibility green and orange, can crimp, cut and strip. 

The 3/8" Drive Mini Flex Ratchet is 4" in length and features a 180° flexible head, allowing users access in the tightest of spaces. The Mini Flex Ratchet includes 72-Tooth gear with 5° arc swing with a quick-release button to lock the socket in place when the job is complete. Mini Ratchets are available in 3/8" drive standard and flex and 1/4" drive standard and flex.  

A unique design increases contact area over a typical wrench and allows for a better fastener grip. The Knuckle Saver Combination Wrench Sets also feature a 12-PT. box end for quicker engagement and wide shank for strength and comfort. New sets include: SAE and metric 14-PC. and 5-PC. sets.

With up to 61% more torque than our existing Precision Torque™ sockets*, the Mac Tools R.B.R.T. SAE and Metric Socket Sets, now with a polished finish to resist corrosion, can be used on new and damaged fasteners to grip and turn an 80% rounded bolt for both loosening and tightening rounded fasteners*. Available in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive SAE standard, SAE deep, metric standard and metric deep sets. 

With a capped end that allows users to strike the pry bar with a hammer without damaging the handle, this set features a two-piece composite handle for a comfortable, secure grip. 3-PC. and 4-PC. sets available in red, green, orange and now purple.

A screwdriver and pry bar in one, the Strikable Prying Screwdriver Set is designed with tough materials and reinforced handles for ultimate durability. The set is available in red and high-visibility green and orange and can be used on brake calipers, wheel caps, drive shafts and drum brakes for precise and effective work in automotive maintenance and repair.  

With 25% shorter length than regular impact sockets, the new Stubby Impact Socket Set, treated for durability and corrosion resistance, gives users greater accessibility in tight or hard-to-reach applications. The set includes a cross-hole design to prevent unintentional separation of adapter and socket. 

Compiling all the best-selling bits into one kit, the 20-PC. Master Pneumatic Bit Sets are made of fully hardened and tempered shock-resistant tool steel and CNC machined for tighter tolerances than competitors. The bits in the set are individually marked with a permanent laser for easy identification and organization in tool storage. 

With multi-angle illumination allowing for 360° visibility and a magnet for hands-free use, the compact area work light brings together versatility and portability. The light features 5.5 hours of runtime per charge and is dust, water and impact resistant.

The new 150-lumen Mini Pen Lights are a compact and lightweight lighting option featuring a magnetic clip that can be rotated 360° and includes three light modes.
