SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN
We aspire to source our raw materials, finished goods, components and services from suppliers that meet our evolving sustainability criteria. We are committed to working with our suppliers of products, goods and services to reduce supply chain emissions by 35% by 2030. We continue to assess all of our new suppliers for adherences to our social and environmental expectations. In 2020, 100% of new suppliers in high risk areas were audited.
At Stanley Black and Decker it’s important that our key suppliers are included in our supply chain process. Over the years we have engaged a large number of suppliers to take part in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and in 2020 many of our suppliers submitted to CDP for the first time. In 2020 our CDP Supplier Response Rate was 69%.
