SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN
We aspire to source our raw materials, finished goods, components and services from suppliers that meet our evolving sustainability criteria. We are committed to working with our suppliers of products, goods and services to reduce supply chain emissions by 35% by 2030. In 2019, 100% of new suppliers in high risk areas were assessed for adherence to our social and environmental expectations. We also encourage our suppliers to participate in our CDP Supply Chain Program. We believe disclosure is the first step in the journey towards sustainable performance. Collaborating with strategic suppliers encourages transparency in our supply chain. It also allows our suppliers to benchmark their individual performance and highlight improvement opportunities. In 2019 we invited over twelve hundred of our key suppliers to join us on our sustainability journey. We are committed to reaching a participation rate of 80% based on our supplier spend.
