Bill Beck serves as President of the Tools & Outdoor business division at Stanley Black & Decker. Bill is responsible for leading and executing the strategic roadmap for the Company’s $13.3 billion Tools & Outdoor portfolio, driving operational excellence, organic growth and market leadership across a strong portfolio of iconic brands. Since joining Stanley Black & Decker, Bill has played a pivotal role in transforming the Tools & Outdoor business into a brand-led, market-back and data-driven organization, while navigating complex market dynamics and upholding the Company’s core values.

Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, Bill was Chief Marketing Officer at Elevance Health, where he led the strategic transformation from Anthem to Elevance Health, streamlining brand architecture and driving deeper brand and product focus and go-to-market strategies. He also spent nearly a decade at Whirlpool Corporation, overseeing the North American kitchen business and leading global brand strategy for newly acquired international brands. Bill brings more than twenty-five years of executive leadership, growth transformation, brand marketing and product development experience across healthcare, durable goods and consumer goods.

In addition, Bill held sales and marketing roles over eleven years with Pepperidge Farm, where he began his career. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business from New York University.
