Jane Palmieri, former President of the Industrial Intermediates & Infrastructure, Dow Inc., has been a director of the Company since February 2021.
In her role as President of the Industrial Intermediates & Infrastructure, Ms. Palmieri oversaw an industry-leading portfolio of businesses, including Polyurethanes, Chlor-Alkali & Vinyl, Construction Chemicals and Industrial Solutions. In addition, she had executive oversight for Dow business in Asia Pacific and Latin America, as well as Dow’s MobilityScience™ platform.
Ms. Palmieri had more than 30 years of experience with Dow and prior to her last role, held the role of Business President, Dow Building & Construction. She has also held a variety of business roles throughout her career, spanning marketing, sales, new business development and business operations in several Dow businesses, including Dow Automotive, Dow Specialty Chemicals, Dow Coating Solutions and Dow Solar.
Ms. Palmieri is 56 years old and a member of the Finance and Pension Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee.
Ms. Palmieri’s demonstrated record leading global industrial operating segments, in addition to her experience in sales, digital marketing innovation, mergers and acquisitions and operations, helps the Board oversee the broad array of challenges the Company faces. Ms. Palmieri’s engineering background and expertise in product design, with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, make her an important resource for the Board and management team.
