Maria Ford is the President, Commercial, Industrial and Farm & Hardware in North America for the Tools & Outdoor business within Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. Maria leads the $2B organization with a team of more than 450 people. In this position, Maria is responsible for the sales, channel marketing and user-facing strategy of tools and outdoor products distributed and serviced under brands including DEWALT®, LENOX®, PROTO®, STANLEY® and CRAFTSMAN® in the North American commercial construction market.

Maria started her career with Stanley Black & Decker in 1998 as an intern on the Home Depot team. Since then, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, product marketing and channel marketing for a variety of Stanley Black & Decker’s largest brands and customer accounts. 

Along with her leadership position at SBD, Maria serves on the Executive Board for ISA and is a member of the Women Industrial Supply Executives (W.I.S.E.). Maria also serves on the Evergreen Marketing Group’s Supplier Advisory Council.  She actively works to keep SBD’s products and brands and the forefront of the construction and industrial vertical, while also advocating for the advancement of women in the industry. 

Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola University Maryland, and lives in the Baltimore area.
