Stephen M. Subasic
STEPHEN SUBASIC is the Vice President of Human Resources (HR) for Global Tools & Storage (GTS). Stephen joined the company in 2011.
Stephen is responsible for the development and deployment of our strategic HR initiatives at GTS, which enable strategic plan execution through excellence in our people and processes. He has also taken on a critical, expanded role leading our companywide Breakthrough Innovation initiative. In this capacity, he has guided the formulation of our innovation approach, championed the launch and expansion of our breakthrough organizational model, shared innovation best practices across the company and mentored our breakthrough teams. In 2016, Stephen was named a corporate officer of Stanley Black & Decker recognizing the breadth and scope of his role within the organization.
When Stephen joined the Company, he brought with him more than 20 years of global HR experience in a variety of manufacturing industries, including most recently, as Vice President, Global HR for Oshkosh Corporation. Prior to that, Stephen directly supported manufacturing, distribution and commercial teams with The Sherwin-Williams Company and Snyder’s of Hanover.
Stephen graduated from St. Francis University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in labor & industrial relations. He is also a Six Sigma Greenbelt and a certified executive coach.
