STEPHEN SUBASIC is the Vice President of Human Resources for Global Tools & Storage (GTS) & Corporate Talent Management. Stephen joined the company in 2011.

Stephen is responsible for developing the strategic human capital plan that supports and enables GTS’ strategic priorities, while also leading the company’s corporate talent organization. A key area of focus in this role is the expansion of the company’s talent strategy and practices to enable continued scale of the organization.  

Stephen previously guided the formulation of the company’s innovation approach, where he championed the launch and expansion of our breakthrough organizational model, shared innovation best practices across the company and mentored our breakthrough teams.

In 2016, Stephen was named a corporate officer of Stanley Black & Decker recognizing the breadth and scope of his role within the organization.

When Stephen joined the company, he brought with him more than 20 years of global HR experience in a variety of manufacturing industries, including most recently as Vice President of Global HR for Oshkosh Corporation. Prior to that, Stephen directly supported manufacturing, distribution and commercial teams with The Sherwin-Williams Company and Snyder’s of Hanover.

Stephen graduated from St. Francis University, where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Labor & Industrial Relations. He is also a Six Sigma Greenbelt and a certified executive coach.
