In this extraordinary film, Jundong describes how the typhoons in Guangzhou in Southern China can devastate the area, affecting many families and businesses across the region. He recalls how he experienced the dangers of this as a child, once being swept away by a vicious flood. Thankfully, he was rescued.
Joining the STANLEY Infrastructure team in 2013, he discovered that he could map out the most vulnerable locations, and prepare for the storms ahead – ready to identify, rescue and assist those most in need. Thanks to Jundong’s personal initiative, diligence, and devotion to helping his community, STANLEY pumps are regularly deployed to remove large volumes of water from the worst affected areas. Not only have his actions brought aid and recovery to many people, but they have saved lives in the most serious situations.
