PROUDLY SUPPORTING THOSE WHO PROTECT THE WORLD

Around the world, our employees and leaders have worked to create a powerful network of Employee Resource Groups, each committed to improving inclusivity and equal opportunities across our company.

Thanks to these pioneering groups, participants can engage, learn and share best practices, connect with colleagues, collaborate with new teams and discover fresh ideas. This wealth of experience and diversity has helped Stanley Black & Decker to achieve great things, and inspires us to achieve future success.

Our Veterans Employee Resource Group (ERG) was formed to support veterans to pursue career opportunities and have access to resources, mentoring and training to advance personal development.

“Our Veterans Network mission is built on the foundation of ‘Hire, Develop and Support’ our Stanley Black & Decker veterans and build awareness in the external community. We want to be an employer of choice for veterans,” said Gregg Chamberlain, Vice President, Human Resources and member of the Veterans Network. “This support not only extends to veterans, but also to friends and family members of veterans as well.”

This veterans group also provides networking and social activities, and helps to build awareness of military veterans, their stories, experiences and skills, and their significant contributions to our country and company – continuing to proudly honor those who have served.

For many years, Stanley Black & Decker has been privileged to work closely with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), an organization that exists to connect, serve, and empower injured military personnel. With a focus on improving health, well-being, and quality of life, WWP has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families, and caregivers since 2003.

Whether on the seas, in the air, or on distant shores, our veterans have made sacrifices to protect our freedom, so that we can live in a better world. To all of the courageous people who have served to defend our country and those around the world: we thank, honor and salute you.
