Pete has been working in eCommerce and digital his entire career, including the sporting goods industry (and that famous swoosh company) – roles that required him to live around the globe. He spent two years living in Japan.
"Having exposure to global markets has required me to understand the unique differences that exist market-to-market," he said. "I’ve also worked with teams all over the world to drive and grow eCommerce, which is why my role here is such a great fit."
Pete said that eCommerce is an important part of Stanley Black & Decker’s growth strategy, with a renewed focus on those who use our products, from individuals to large companies.
"That’s what drives me – to help evolve the company to operate and compete in the global market and do whatever we can for our customers – our end users," he said. "I really enjoy the opportunity to work across a number of different markets and cultures and work with a diverse set of people with varying backgrounds and experiences. The challenge of that is what makes my job so much fun. And there is no one-size-fits-all solution in eCommerce, so pretty much every day is unique."
