Stanley Black & Decker has won four Comparably Awards including Best CEO for Diversity and Women, Best Leadership Teams and Best Companies for Professional Development.

Stanley Black & Decker has put various strategic initiatives in place to address inclusion. The company has supported the creation of nine employee resource groups (ERGs), with more than 75 chapters globally. They are formed around various dimensions of diversity, and allow members and allies to develop a deep sense of pride, passion and belonging in our culture, career development, community engagement and commercial innovation.
Stanley Black & Decker has also participated in the Business Roundtable Diversity & Inclusion Index, where the largest U.S.-based employers are committed to building a more inclusive environment. And President and CEO Jim Loree was among a group of prominent CEOs to sign on to the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion.
In 2019, Stanley Black & Decker partnered with the NeuroLeadership Institute to develop a set of leadership principles that help guide the organization in developing effective leaders. These leadership principles were custom-tailored and centered around our organization and its needs.
