ROBERT RAFF is Acting Executive Vice President of Stanley Black & Decker’s Tools business, which generates approximately $12 billion in annual revenues.

Robert assumed acting leadership of the Tools business after more than 20 years in a variety of senior roles across Stanley Black & Decker.

He was most recently Head of Outdoor Integration for Stanley Black & Decker – a position he was appointed to in 2021, as the company began integrating acquisitions to grow the Outdoor business.

Prior to his role as Head of Outdoor Integration, Robert was President of the STANLEY Security business, a $2 billion division of Stanley Black & Decker. He was responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Commercial Electronic Security, Access Technologies and Healthcare Solutions businesses globally, which employed approximately 8,500 people.

Robert joined Stanley Black & Decker in 2002, spending 14 years in the Tools business, beginning his career at the company as the General Manager for Global Tools & Storage (GTS) in Mexico. In 2005, his role expanded to Vice President of Latin America for GTS, and, soon after, he added the North America sales organization to his scope. In 2007, Robert became President of Stanley National Hardware until the Black & Decker acquisition in 2010, when he was named President of North America Sales for GTS. He led a successful commercial integration of the two companies, with industry leading organic growth and record operating margin. In 2015, Robert was appointed President of STANLEY Electronic Security North America.

Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, Robert worked in various roles of progressing responsibility within Federal-Mogul Corp., Cooper Industries and Replacement Parts, Inc.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
