RODRIGO MARTINS is the President of the Latin America Group, a division of the Global Emerging Markets.
Rodrigo currently holds responsibility for 2200 employees spread over 29 countries. His leadership has been instrumental in driving growth in all markets across Latin America. Latin America contributes to approximately 60% of the total Global Emerging Markets $1.1B business.
Rodrigo has 25 years of rounded experience in General Management, Business Development, Profit and Loss Responsibility and Financial Leadership. He has worked in several countries across Latin America, Asia Pacific, and the United States.
Prior to Stanley Black & Decker, Rodrigo worked for General Electric (GE) for over 11 years holding roles such as CFO - GE Energy for Latin America, CFO for Brazil, and President - GE Lighting for Latin America. Rodrigo began his career at KPMG serving in roles from auditor trainee to senior manager.
Rodrigo holds an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, a Master’s of Science in Strategic Management from Indiana University, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidad Paulista and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Rodrigo is originally from Brazil and is based in Miramar, Florida where he resides with his wife and three children.
