Susan K. Carter, former Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ingersoll Rand plc (now Trane Technologies plc), has been a director of the Company since October 2023.
Ms. Carter served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ingersoll Rand plc (now Trane Technologies) from October 2013 until her retirement in 2020. Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Ms. Carter served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of KBR, Inc. from 2009 through 2013. Prior to that, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lennox International Inc. from 2004 to 2009. From 2002 to 2004, Ms. Carter served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Cummins Inc. She also held senior financial and accounting roles at Honeywell International, DeKalb Corporation and Crane Co. Ms. Carter is currently a member of the board of directors of Amcor plc and ON Semiconductor Corporation.
Ms. Carter is 65 years old and a member of the Audit Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee.
Ms. Carter has more than 30 years of financial and leadership experience and has helped multiple public companies, including Ingersoll Rand plc (now Trane Technologies), deliver long-term shareholder value by driving execution and optimizing business and financial performance. Ms. Carter’s extensive experience in financial reporting, information technology, accounting, capital management and global operations significantly enhances our Board’s oversight of these matters.
